Problemi con swaret

Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.
2) Per evitare confusione prego inserire in questo forum solo topic che riguardano appunto Slackware, se l'argomento è generale usate il forum Gnu/Linux in genere.
3) Leggere attentamente le risposte ricevute.
4) Scrivere i messaggi con il colore di default, evitare altri colori.
5) Scrivere in Italiano o in Inglese, se possibile grammaticalmente corretto, evitate stili di scrittura poco chiari, quindi nessuna abbreviazione tipo telegramma o scrittura stile SMS o CHAT.

La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.

Problemi con swaret

È circa la terza volta che reinstallo il sistema dopo un aggiornamento per via di swaret. Se potete, aiutatemi. Il fatto è questo:
- installo Slackware e Swaret e lo configuro, mettendo 1 alle dipendenze e alle librerie, in modo che metta tutto a posto. Quindi do semplicemente #swaret --update e #swaret --upgrade -a
Così facendo dovrebbe aggiornarmi tutti i pacchetti installati. Bene, lo fa, ma quando riavvio ci manca sempre qualcosa che non fa andare X o che causa problemi vari per cui mi trovo costretto a reinstallare tutto. Vi allego le parti più importanti di swaret.conf

Mhm..questo metodo di upgrade non è il migliore,swaret funziona abbastanza bene,ma dargli un "--upgrade -a" la vedo come una scelta MOLTO coraggiosa..Non so ora come sei messo,ma in generale la strada da seguire per non avere tante rogne è quella di installare da una versione abbastanza recente,poi fai un upgrade mirato,evita di dare il "-a"..Non hai allegato il tuo conf,quindi non riesco a capire se hai settato male qualcosa.
Prendi questo come esempio(non è il mio ma dovrebbe andare): http://xiffs01.altervista.org/data/slac ... waret.conf
e adattalo al tuo caso(NIC,dir,proxy ecc)..
Occhio che alcuni pack sono in EXCLUDE,quindi non te li installa/aggiorna e comunque ricorda che non sempre bisogna riformattare e ripartire da 0 se non va qualcosa..
Posta anche il messaggio di errore,magari sarà una caXxata?! :P

Ok, in exclude ci ho messo, oltre al kernel anche kde e kdeoffice..

secondo me i casini succedono quando swaret tenta di aggiornare le glibc, magari in runlevel 3 o addirittura 4. io swaret lo trovo molto comodo usato con l'opzione --get (-u) che, semplicemente, scarica i tgz in modo da poter aggiornare poi a mano. una volta fatto ciò, si va nella directory dove sono i tgz scaricati (generalmente /var/swaret/) e si aggiorna. se sono presenti le glibc o altri pacchetti "critici" è preferibile andare in init 1 e aggiornare da lì.
