First of all I want to say that I am not asking for a package This time...
I can use BitTorrent 4.1.3 from Slackware's /extra or I can use latest 4.1.7 from linuxpackages.net
I just want to ask... You provide Ktorrent, Azureus... These packages require BitTorrent... And there isn't a BitTorrent .tgz package here on Slacky.it...
Is there a problem with the license or? I doubt there is, because it is officially in /extra...

Bzzz! Bad answer
The Gimp is also in the official Slackware... K3b also, Xchat also... But we have them here in .tgz /All of them newer versions than the official ones in Slackware/...
So, Slackware's BitTorrent is version 4.1.3 and the last one is 4.1.7
We can have it here... As I said I am not asking for it, but it is strange. A famous application, other packages depend on it, it is free... But you can't find it here
Big deal! Gentoo's portage is stuck at version 4.0.2 for BitTorrent
I just guess Loris is the only one managing the slacky.it repository and he obviously doesn't have enough time to keep up to date every single package, so he probably thinks it's not worth to just copy the very same version which is in the Slackware official repositories. This is just my guess, if you want the actual answer wait for Loris
I know it is not a big deal, MAT
And I know that there are other ways to have it. I just wanted to ask because it is famous and useful. And other packages depend on it.
The question was more about the licence. Because I supposed that there might be a problem with it...
Offtopic:
unfortunely I haven't found an English translation of this demential song but you can enjoy trying to find it around the web http://www.lyricsdownload.com/elio-e-le ... yrics.html
the song title is:
el pippero
4.2.0 is final and it is here on Slacky.it! Great!
Thank you so much!
Just a little question:
BitTorrent's package on linuxpackages.net requires PyGTK...
What about this one? Should we have a nice GUI or we need the PyGTK package?
Because it is not mentioned in the file's description...
