Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.
Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.
2) Per evitare confusione prego inserire in questo forum solo topic che riguardano appunto Slackware, se l'argomento è generale usate il forum Gnu/Linux in genere.
3) Leggere attentamente le risposte ricevute.
4) Scrivere i messaggi con il colore di default, evitare altri colori.
5) Scrivere in Italiano o in Inglese, se possibile grammaticalmente corretto, evitate stili di scrittura poco chiari, quindi nessuna abbreviazione tipo telegramma o scrittura stile SMS o CHAT.
6) Appena registrati è consigliato presentarsi nel forum dedicato.
La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.
ciao a tutti, credevo che passare dalla 10.1 alla 102. non portasse problemi con samba visto che faccio una condivisione semplice semplice... il mio file di configurazione è:

mi ha chiesto la password dell'utente di samba gliel'ho messa e mi ha reso una tabella in cui è riassunto il settaggio del dominio e delle directory condivise...
ma il pc windows é configurato e collegato ... vero ??
se si prova a disabilitare per un momento il firewall etc..
pingarlo e alla peggio un bel portscanning con nmap... se non risponde prova a spegnere e a riaccendere l' hub o il router ...
certo che il pc windows è collegato...
il punto è che da linux lo vedo in rete anche se cliccandoci sopra non mi connette nulla ma piuttosto dopo qualche secondo mi dice che non è possibile connettersi all'host...
in / etc/passwd esiste l'utente "gino" e se do il comando che dici mi richiede di mettere due volte le password... e lo faccio...
Il punto è che se apro il browser dalla stessa linuxbox e digito smb:/ riesco a navigare nelle directory condivise tranquillamente ma se provo a farlo dall'altro pc win nulla di nulla non vedo nemmeno la linuxbox...

abbiate pazienza se insisto ma mi sembra impossibile... prima di passare alla 10.2 funzionava tutto alla grande...
