problema wireless

Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.

problema wireless

Buona sera a tutti.Dopo aver letto molti post su come configurare una rete wireless non ne ho ancora capito un H(premetto che non sono espertissimo di linux).Oggi ho comperato un acess point D-Link wireless ma non ho idea di come configurare la rete :( L'adattatore wireless è usb(spero che non crei problemi).
Il mio kernel è il 2.6.13;qualcuno sai indirizzarmi sulla strada giusta?

e poi attacca la chiavetta e pasta output ..

Per il modello di acess point è il D-Link DI-524.
Mentre l'adattatore USB è:802.11g Wireless USB adapter DWL-G122

Grazie mille a tutti ancora ora ho scaricato i driver ma non riesco ad installarli nel senso che dopo aver fatto tar -xvzf nome_del_file.tar.gz mi compare una nuova directory ci vado dentro e faccio ./configure ma mi dice che la directory non esiste :( Non ho idea di come fare??
Secondo voi se installo ndiswrapper che ho trovato nella sezione dowload potrebbe funzionare ugualmente?

ndiwsrapper ti conviene semmai compilarlo dai sorgenti, il pacchetto potrebbe crearti dei problemi. La scelta migliore comunque è avere moduli relativi al chip rispetto a ndiswrapper, perchè, benchè se ne dica bene e io stesso lo usi, è pur sempre un emulatore e quindi non tutto funziona.
Se leggi il readme ti spiega passo passo cosa devi fare

Ho letto il readme ma non ci capisco proprio niente(non utilizzo linux da moltissimo,cioè lo utilizzo ma non ho mai avuto problemi per asettare niente per mia fortuna).
Ti psto qua sotto una parte del readme così magari mi puoi dare una mano:

quando però faccio ifconfig rausb0 up mi dà un errore
rausb0: unknown interface: No such device
Non ho idea del perchè?
